Report of Classis East, April 1, 1970, Hudsonville, Michigan.  Rev. J. Kortering led in the opening devotions, and declared the Classis properly constituted when the credentials were accepted.  All the churches were represented by two delegates except Holland which had one. The Rev. J.A. Heys and the Rev. M. Schipper were absent; the former working in Jamaica, and the latter recuperating from surgery.  The Rev. G.C. Lubbers presided over this session, while the Rev. J. Kortering recorded the minutes. 

Rev. Richard Moore, president of the previous Classis, led Classis in opening devotions. After singing and prayer, he read Psalm 127 and spoke to the Classis on verse 1: “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchmen waketh but in vain.”

January 12, 2011 Trinity Protestant Reformed Church Classis East met in regular session on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Trinity PRC, Hudsonville, MI. All churches were represented by two delegates. Rev. A. denHartog served as the chair of this session. The business of classis was routine for a January session. Classis spent most of its time voting. The following were chosen as delegates to Synod 2011: Ministers: Primi: G. Eriks, C. Haak, K. Koole, J. Slopsema, R. VanOverloop; Secundi: A. denHartog, M. DeVries, W. Langerak, A. Lanning, A. Spriensma. Elders: Primi: Tom DeVries (Hope), Gary Kaptein, Dave Ondersma, Ted Pipe, John VanBaren...

Classis East met in regular session on October 2, 1974 at the Hudsonville Protestant Reformed Church. Each church was, represented by two delegates. Present also to witness and approve the primary business of this session, the examination of Candidate and Pastor-elect of Prospect Park, A. Den Hartog, were the synodical delegates ad examina from Classis West: Rev. D. Engelsma, Rev. J. Kortering, and Rev. G. Laming. Rev. M. Joostens was called for the first time in his ministerial career to chair this session. 

Classis East met in a most enjoyable and fruitful session on the 4th of October in Southwest Church. After the opening devotions by Rev. C. Hanko and the opening remarks of the chairman for the day, Rev. R.C. Harbach, Classis concerned itself with the main item of business: the examination of minister-elect Ronald Van Overloop.

Rev. M. Schipper presided over the opening devotions, and declared the Classis properly constituted. Noticeably absent from the October meetings were the Revs. Lubber, Kortering, Harbach, and Veldman. The Rev. Lubbers having moved to Jamaica, the Rev. Kortering to Hull, the Rev. Harbach was also in Jamaica, and the Rev. Veldman was ill. All the churches, however were represented by two delegates each. The Rev. G. VanBaren, following the order of rotation, presided, while the Rev. Schipper recorded theminutes. 

REPORT OF CLASSIS EAST July 1, 1970 At Holland, Michigan  Rev. G.C. Lubbers, chairman of the April Classis, led in the opening devotions, and after the credentials were received, declared Classis properly constituted. All the churches were represented by two delegates each, except Kalamazoo. It was reported that they could not appear because of a death in that congregation, the funeral being held while Classis met. Rev. M. Schipper, following the order of rotation, then presided, while Rev. Lubbers recorded the minutes. 

Classis East met in regular session on May 9, 1979 at the Faith Prot. Ref. Church. The churches, with the exception of Kalamazoo, were represented by two delegates. Rev. Woudenberg led in opening devotions; Rev. Bruinsma has his initiation as chairman. 

Classis East met in regular session on January 3, 1973 in our Hope Church. Rev. Harbach Red in opening devotions and Rev. Schipper was the chairman of this session. Each church was represented by two delegates. Professors Hanko and Hoeksema were given advisory vote. 

Rev. G. VanBaren, chairman of the October Classis, led in opening devotions, and, after the credentials were received, declared Classis to be properly constituted. All the churches were represented by two delegates. Rev. R.C. Harbach, due to the absence of Rev. H. Veldman, who had been delayed in his return from a classical appointment in Doon, then presided. Rev. G. VanBaren recorded the minutes. The business at hand was routine and was carried out with dispatch. The Stated Clerk and the Classical Committee reported on their activities. Elders J.
