May 11, 2005 Trinity Protestant Reformed Church Classis East met in regular session on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at the Trinity PRC, Hudsonville, Michigan. All the churches were represented by two delegates. Rev. J. Slopsema was the chair for this session. The business of classis was routine; but, as the chairman reminded the delegates, routine does not mean that the items were not important. May 14, 2008 with continued sessions on May 15, 16, and 28 Classis East met in regular session on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 with continuing sessions on May 15, 16, and 28 at the First PRC of Holland, MI. All churches were represented by two delegates; Rev. Daniel Kleyn served as the chairman for these sessions. On its first day of meeting, Classis was able to make the joyous decision to organize a new congregation. At First Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan Rev. C. Hanko led in the opening devotions, and greeted the Rev. R.C. Harbach who attended Classis East for the first time as delegate. REPORT OF CLASSIS EAST, Feb. 14, 1962. Rev. H. Hanko, chairman of the January meeting led in opening devotions. Roll call showed that in two or three instances alternate delegates had replaced those present at the January session, and that no delegates from Grand Haven made their appearance during this three day session. The Committee which had been appointed at the January session to advise Classis on the matter of the three protests presented its report. There appeared a majority and a minority report. Rev. R.C. Harbach led in opening devotions, and declared the Classis properly constituted, after the credentials of the various delegates were accepted. All the churches of Classis East were represented.  Rev. G. Lanting then presided over this session of Classis, which again was a brief session, the material mostly routine.  The brethren M. Klop and R. Teitsma were appointed to serve on the finance committee.

Rev. G. Lanting, in the absence of Rev. R.C. Harbach who was chairman of the April Classis, led in opening devotions and presided over this session of Classis. Rev. M. Schipper served as clerk.  The chairman greeted the delegates, and especially welcomed the Rev. H. Veldman, who had so recently come to Classis East from Classis West.  All the churches of Classis East were represented by two delegates except Kalamazoo which had only one.

Report of Classis West, March 21, 1962. Classis West of our Prot. Ref. Churches met in Randolph, Wisconsin, Wednesday, March 21, 1962. Rev. R.C. Harbach presided at this meeting, and the Rev. Woudenberg recorded the minutes. We met until 11:30 p.m. of that Wednesday. It was a busy Classis meeting characterized by a spirit of unity throughout. Several protests were treated, and all were directed against the consistory of our Redlands Church. This church has been plagued by this trouble for several years.
