Classis West met in special session on Wednesday and Thursday, June 17 and 18, 1992, in South Holland, Illinois. This meeting was held to conduct the peremptoir examination of Pastor-elect Mitchell Dick. Pastor-elect Dick successfully sustained his examination and the Immanuel Protestant Reformed Church of Lacombe, Alberta, Canada, was advised to proceed with his ordination to the ministry of the Word and sacraments. Via its Classical Committee, Classis West also received and approved a request from Rev.
