January 7,1994 Dear Friends in Christ: We continue to enjoy God’s blessing in our life and work at the seminary. We are thankful to God for the harmony which prevails and for the good progress being made by the students at all levels. The January interim class, taught this year by the undersigned, is a seminar on pastoral care. Dear friends in Christ: Under God’s blessing we are enjoying a profitable year at the seminary. Our student body consists of eight men. Allen Brummel (son of Edgerton, MN Protestant Reformed Church) and Douglas Kuiper (Hope PRC, Walker, MI) expect to graduate, D.V., in June of 1996. In June of 1994 Christopher Connors and David Higgs, of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Australia, will have completed a three-year course of study. Rev. November 1, 1989 Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord: By the time you read this we will be nearing the end of the first semester. Our students at this point in the semester are anticipating their semester examinations and working hard on their term papers and research projects. Mr. Mitchell Dick is in his third year of studies and Mr. Leonard Holstege is in his first year. In addition, there are eight young men from our churches enrolled in pre-seminary programs at various colleges and universities. March 10, 1992 Dear Brothers and Sisters in our Lord: Under God’s blessing we hare having a profitable year at the seminary. The students are doing well in their studies. In addition to our own four students, it is our privilege to instruct two students from the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Australia. These men and their families have adjusted well to our school and churches. In addition to their teaching responsibilities, the professors are kept busy preaching and teaching in our churches.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ:  We are nearing the end of another school term, and we thought it well to end the term as we began it, by communicating with you via our Standard Bearer. Without such communication the seminary tends to be somewhat isolated from the churches, while it is nevertheless the school of the churches and wants to be remembered as such.

Protestant Reformed Seminary 4949 Ivanrest Avenue Grandville, Michigan 49418 With gratitude to God, the seminary began the new year of instruction on August 26, 2002 with orientation, chapel, and the traditional disbursing of assignments. On Friday evening of the first week, students, faculty, and staff with their families gathered for a picnic and enjoyed good fun and fellowship. The Protestant Reformed Theological Seminary opened its doors for the 2005-2006 school year on Monday, August 29. Two first-year students were welcomed, Nathan Dykstra (Hudsonville Protestant Reformed Church) and Cory Griess (originally from Loveland, CO Protestant Reformed Church and currently a member of the Georgetown Protestant Reformed Church in West Michigan). Heath Bleyenberg is in his second year. Heath is a member of Hope PRC and was born, baptized, and raised in the PRC of Edgerton, MN.
