Insofar as I have been able to participate in the activities of this year’s young people’s convention, I want to express my gratitude to all those who have made this convention and fiftieth anniversary celebration possible. Protestant Reformed young people and members of the Protestant Reformed Churches—God’s covenant people in the world: We are Reformed! On the basis of the infallibly inspired Scriptures and in harmony with our precious Reformed confessions, we preach, believe, and confess the glorious sovereignty of God in the salvation of sinners by His grace alone. Salvation is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God Who shows mercy to whom He will show mercy.
