One who is interested to learn on the basis of what arguments science concludes that the earth is millions and even billions of years old, will do well to read this book but—critically. The authors all confess to believe the biblical account of the creation of the world. In this book, however, they do not proceed from it, but only from the viewpoint of science.

Third printing, $2.50 (To churches $1.75).  Our readers will remember that this psalter was published in a revised edition in 1947. But the supply ran out and the Wm. B. Calvinism, by Ben A. Warburton. Published by Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Price $3.00.  The sub-title of this book is: “Its History, Basic Principles, Its Fruits and Its Future, and Its Practical Application and Life.” Personally, I am not acquainted with the author of this book, and it would have been a help if in the book itself he would have been briefly introduced to the American reader. All we learn to know about him is that he is “an English student of Calvinism, and editor of The Christian Pathway.”
