Byron Center Protestant Reformed Church
Classis East met in regular session on Wednesday, September 14, 1988 at the Byron Center Protestant Reformed Church. This marked the first time in years that a meeting of classis was held in Byron Center. The delegates enjoyed touring the beautiful new sanctuary and meeting rooms which the congregation of Byron Center just recently dedicated.
The business of classis was routine. There were reports from the Stated Clerk and the Classical Committee and from the synodical delegates ad examina of their visit to Classis West concerning the organization of a new congregation in Lynwood, Illinois.
