There is currently appearing in Christianity Today a series of essays on “Fundamentals of the Faith.” In that series, there appeared an essay recently by Billy Graham entitled “The New Birth.” (See Christianity Today, September 10, 1965) 

It was to be expected that the religious press would take note of the death of our beloved Reverend Herman Hoeksema and that in connection with our bereavement there would be not only expressions of condolence but also evaluations expressed. It surely is not my intention to take note of or to reply to all such expressions.

“For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar.” Acts 27:23, 24
