Sister-Church Activities The Covenant Keepers (young people) and Covenant Keepers Seniors (young adults) of our sister church in Singapore, the Covenant Evangelical Reformed Church, celebrated their anniversaries on January 25. It was fourteen years for Covenant Keepers and six years for Covenant Keepers Seniors. Denomination Activities The work of our denomination’s radio ministry continues to grow. We recently came across a report that the Reformed Witness Hour was ready to begin broadcasting in New York City, New York for the first time in our churches’ history. Thanks to a friend of our radio pro­gram in Long Island, NY, the RWH was heard on Hope Radio (six FM frequencies on Sunday, reaching nearly three million people), begin­ning Sunday, February 2, at 8:30 in the morning. Denomination Activities Every year members of our de­nomination’s Contact Committee make an annual visit to our sister church in Northern Ireland, the Cov­enant PRC in Ballymena. This year Rev. Garrett Eriks, from the Hud­sonville, MI PRC, along with Mr. Sid Miedema, from the Byron Center, MI PRC, made the trip. Congregation Activities The congregation of the Bethel PRC in Roselle, IL was invited to join their Young People and Young Adult Societies for an outing on Saturday, January 4. Plans called for the members of Bethel to visit the Strike Ten bowling alley at around three in the afternoon and then enjoy each other’s company at the Penang Restaurant at 5:30 p.m. for a dinner of authentic Malaysian food. Congregation Activities The Activities Committee of the Providence PRC in Hudsonville, MI had a fun night planned for their congregation on Saturday, November 23. Plans called for Providence to meet that night at the gym of Hope PR Christian School for a pizza dinner, followed with the playing of a fun game called 9 square in the air.
