REPORT OF CLASSIS EAST April 8, 1948 The delegates of the twelve churches of Classis East met at the Protestant Reformed Church of Holland, Michigan at the above mentioned date. The opening devotionals were conducted by Rev. B. Kok, who later served as clerk, while Rev. J. A. Heys served as chairman.
REPORT OF CLASSIS EAST IN SESSION JULY 14, 1948 Classis East of the Protestant Reformed Churches met in the First Church on Wednesday, July 14, 1948. The opening exercises were conducted by the Rev. J. A. Heys in the usual manner. The credentials were then read and received showing that all the churches were represented.

Report of Classis East Convened, July 6, at Grand Rapids, Mich. The July session of Classis East was opened with the singing of Psalter No. 165. Rev. R. Veldman, the president of the last Classis reads Psalm 25 and leads in prayer. The credentials are read and accepted. Classis declared constituted. According to rotation, Rev. G. Vos presides. Rev. H. De Wolf functions as stated clerk in the absence of Mr. D. Jonker.
WHICH MET IN SESSION, OCTOBER 5, 1949 Classis East met in the new church building of our congregation at Kalamazoo on the morning of October 5, 1949. Classis was called to order by Rev. G. Vos, the president of our last Classical meeting. Classis sings No. 374:1, 5 from the Psalter. Rev. Vos then reads Eph. 4 and leads in prayer.
MET IN SESSION, JAN. 4, 1950 AT GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. This session of Classis was held at the First Protestant Reformed Church at Grand Rapids, Mich. The usual opening exercises were conducted by the Rev. J. Blankespoor, president of the last classis. All the churches were represented by two delegates except Randolph; they delegated their pastor only.
In the Standard Bearer, Jan. 15, 1950, the Revs. Kok and De Jong attempt to clear themselves by quoting two telegrams they have received from the Netherlands. But their attempt to clear themselves ends in complete failure. These telegrams do not deny that they made the statements ascribed to them in the letter of Prof. Holwerda.
MET IN SESSION, APRIL 5, 1950, AT GRAND RAPIDS, MICH, Since Rev. J. De Jong, who presided at our last Classis, had left for Classis West, Rev. C. Hanko, who according to rotation should preside, was called upon to conduct the opening exercises. We sang Psalter No. 239. Rev. Hanko then read Isaiah 62 and led in prayer.
