September 14, 1988  Byron Center Protestant Reformed Church Classis East met in regular session on Wednesday, September 14, 1988 at the Byron Center Protestant Reformed Church. This marked the first time in years that a meeting of classis was held in Byron Center. January 11, 1995 Southwest Protestant Reformed Church Classis East met in regular session on Wednesday, January 11, 1995 at the Southwest Protestant Reformed Church. Mr. Huisken, a member of Grandville Protestant Reformed Church, is registrar at Hope College, in Holland, Michigan. Calvin’s main treatise on civil government is found in Book IV, Chapter 20 of his Institutes of the Christian Religion.
