Randolph’s consistory has presented a new trio to the congregation consisting of the Revs. H. Hanko, H.H. Kuiper and R. Veldman.
A new trio has been named by the consistory of Creston Church as follows: Revs. H.J. Kuiper, G. VanBaren and R. Veldman.
Rev. G. VanBaren, of Doon, declined the call from Grand Haven. —Lynden’s pastor, Rev. R.C. Harbach, declined the call he was considering from our church in Randolph, Wise. Doon’s Jan. 8th bulletin carried this paragraph: “Rev. and Mrs. G. VanBaren rejoice in the birth of a son on Jan. 4.” Their new church directory lists his name as Gerald Wayne.
Randolph’s congregation called Rev. R.C. Harbach of Lynden, from a trio which included the Revs. C. Hanko and M. Scmpper.
Rev. A. Mulder, of Kalamazoo, declined the call extended him by our Creston congregation. —Randolph’s new trio consists of the Revs. C. Hanko, R.C. Harbach and M. Schipper. —The congregations of Forbes and Isabel jointly extended a call to our Missionary, Rev. G. Lubbers. —Grand Haven’s congregation called the Rev. G. VanBaren from the trio presented to them.
The consistory of Grand Haven has presented a trio from which the congregation will choose a minister-elect. The trio consists of the Revs. G. Lubbers, M. Schipper and G. VanBaren. Hudsonville has for years held its second service in the evening instead of afternoon during the summer months. Recently the congregation decided to maintain that summer schedule throughout the entire year. This decision was precipitated by the pastor’s doctor who decreed that Rev. Vos should space his preaching to that extent.
Creston’s congregation has extended a call to the Rev. A. Mulder of Kalamazoo. The joint consistories of Isabel and Forbes have placed the following ministers on trio: Revs. G. Lubbers, R.C. Harbach and A. Mulder.
Kalamazoo’s minister, Rev. A. Mulder, declined the call extended him from the congregation at Randolph, Wisconsin. Creston’s consistory has presented a new trio to their congregation, consisting of Rev. R.C. Harbach, of Lynden; Rev. A. Mulder, of Kalamazoo; Rev. R. Veldman, of Southeast church in Grand Rapids.
Rev. G. Vanden Berg of Oak Lawn, Illinois, has declined the call sent to him by our Creston church. Creston expects to choose another trio October 31, D.V. From Grand Haven’s bulletin we learn of our Missionary’s itinerary which includes three lectures in the West: “The Infallible Earmarks of the Last Hour” at Prairie City, Iowa, Oct. 11; “Calvin And The Reformed Faith,” at Pella, Oct. 18; “The Raging of Satan” at Killduff, Iowa, Nov. 3.
